Xjensa has secured an IP portfolio and project pipeline in medical devices, new drug development, and renewable energy leveraging trusted relationships with scientists, technologists, and research institutes in the US, UK, the Netherlands, and Germany.
Dr. Greg Bailey, MD, a co-founder and the Executive Chairman of Juvenescence, is a physician, financier, and biotech entrepreneur with extensive experience founding and financing healthcare companies.
Dr. Bailey is driven by the important opportunity to truly modify aging based on rigorous science. The goal: to use his track record and drug development expertise, and that of his partners, to find compelling products and build global companies that improve lifespan and healthspan.
He was a former managing partner of Palantir Group, Inc., a merchant bank specializing in biotech and intellectual property and he was the initial financier and an independent director of Medivation, Inc. (MDVN:NASDAQ), acquired by Pfizer in 2016. He also led the seed financing of Biohaven Pharmaceuticals Holding Company Ltd. and joined the board in 2014.
Previously, he founded or financed Ascent Healthcare Solutions, VirnetX Inc. (VHC:AMEX), and SalvaRx Group PLC. He is also a board member of AgeX Therapeutics.
Dr. Bailey has an MD from the University of Western Ontario and practiced emergency medicine for 10 years prior to becoming a serial entrepreneur.
Whit Pepper has spent nearly thirty years as an executive and advisor to boards and CEOs of highly technical engineering, financial services, technology, and scientific research organizations around the world.
Whit specializes in working with professionals offering highly technical, complex solutions to transform their ideas and innovations into compelling propositions and competitive businesses. He has successfully worked with scientists, engineers, researchers, accountants, lawyers, and financiers in more than twenty countries to significantly increase revenue and profitability.
Prior to commercial leadership roles, Whit began as an advisor to US Special Forces and intelligence organizations as liaison between advanced technology development and US special operations teams (military, federal law enforcement, and intelligence operatives). This included commercialization and IP transition work with US agencies such as Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), Special Operations Command (SOCOM), Department of Justice, Technical Support Working Group (TSWG), Sandia National Laboratories, and various special missions units.
